I’m drawn to things that are passionate. I embrace artists like Butch Walker and Val Emmich because they are courageous artists that are changing the standard of music … not just in their product - but, in their passion for making the music industry a better place. Making it honest and fun again.

Favorite Bands: Listing my favorite bands is like asking me what’s for dinner - I’m always hungry for something different but, some of my favorites include: Butch Walker, The Hives, The Appleseed Cast, Metric, Jeff Buckley, Sugarcult, Radiohead, Portishead, Weezer, We Are Scientists, Lovedrug, Muse, Damien Rice, The Good Life, Manchester Orchestra, Spoon, and Stereophonics.

Favorite Movies: I’m not a huge movie gal but the art direction of ‘Across the Universe’ is amazing. I enjoy the Matrix movies. Sin city is great. Lucky Number Slevin is awesome. I dig anything that Guy Richie is associated with.

School & Major: Went to college at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, studied abroad in France in 2001, worked in marketing and promotions for the ABC affiliate in Minneapolis for 5 years (KSTP-TV), I now work for the CBS affiliate in Minneapolis (WCCO-TV) in marketing and promotions.

Music Industry Jobs: I grew up with a radio DJ father - so I was always surrounded with radio/music. I’ve done freelance music photography for the past 2 years and I write concert reviews and take photos for Planet Verge Magazine.
