Medicated Kisses Looking for New Guitar Player

Hey MK Family,

 

How’s everyone doing?! The final weeks of seasonal brutality are here and with the inevitable gorgeous Boston springtime comes a change for MK as well. We are sure that everyone has noticed plenty of shows being canceled over the last couple weeks and we’d like to let everyone in on what’s up with MK. As of this week, MK has officially parted ways with our guitar player Ryan (Murf). It has been quite a struggle to get to this place and it is certainly the best for everyone involved. We also would like to apologize for our last minute cancellations. Breaking an agreement to play a show is not something we would ever want to do, but of course, this was completely out of our hands.

 

What is most important to us at this point is for our fans to know that we are still here. MK is not over. In fact, we are really excited to get our new guitar player ready to go ASAP. We have a ton of new music coming and lots of touring this summer to be done. Once we are completely settled with MK’s newest member, you can be sure that we will pick up right where we left off.

 

We WILL be playing ONE show in the next couple of weeks. We were asked this year to participate in the WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble. This is such an honor to be chosen to participate and we couldn’t be more psyched. Our date to compete will be April 11th at Harper’s Ferry and we’ll be posting more details as they come.

 

We are feeling stronger than ever right now as a family. We can only ask that our fans stick by us through this transitional period. We share a very close bond with our fans and the number of you all over the country is only getting bigger! We are so blessed to share the love we have for our music and we want to bring it to all of you all over the world!
