I’m drawn to bands and artists that are making music/art because they love it and are passionate about what they do. I like all kinds of genres but my ear turns towards bands who are experimenting and trying new things. Bands that continue to move music forward are the bands worth following.

Favorite Bands: The Appleseed Cast, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Against Me!, Brandtson

Favorite Movies: Monty Python’s The Life of Brian, Braveheart, Blade Runner, Almost Famous, High Fidelity, Nightmare on Elm Street

School & Major: Got AA Degree from NIACC (North Iowa Area Community College) and then a BA Degree from Waldorf College. Majoring in Electronic Media & Communications. Heavily involved in the College Radio Station, KZOW.

Music Industry Jobs: Interned for a recording studio in Tulsa, OK. Had a brief stint as Tour Manager for the band Pillar. Took a break for a year and a half from that, then got back on the road with Pillar as their Stage Manager/Merchandise Manager. Also held jobs on Lighting/Stage crew for a few other bands here and there.
