I absolutely love Secret and Whisper. I will agree that they sound a little bit like Saosin. However, the way that Secret and Whisper holds their songs together is quite amazing. These guys are definetly talented, and are not copycats. They have their own style, and have virtually gotten inside all of my friends heads. My friends hate christian music, and are VERY critical of new bands. You wanna know what they said? They said that "Secret and Whisper is simply amazing to listen too. The guitar and the drums simply are gorgeous, and though the lyrics may not be 100% there, the beats and rythms that these guys who look like chicks have come up with are genius. it draws a person into the song" any thoughts? simply said, I love Secret and Whisper, and thank-you my friends for showing the world that this band is not just any regular band.

Just to set the record straight. I'm not a long time fan of Saosin.

Seriously...listen to a Saosin album and when your done, listen to Secret & Whisper. It's obvious.

This is a non-bias review. I just notice some glaring similarities. But that's OK. This is what the Christian market does. They find and sign bands that sound similar to popular artists.

Secret & Whisper are the Christian Saosin. Just like MxPx were the Christian Green Day and Kutluss is the Christian Creed.

I'm sure Secret & Whisper has talent, but the similarities are there. There is no denying it. I stand by my review as a non-Saosin superfan.

I disagree. With the review, it's only their first album and it's pretty good. I haven't heard them live but their songs are very addicting. I've listened to all of them about 300 times and they never get old. They are original, if they were'nt they would be the next Jonas Brothers. There is something about them that draws them in. I believe Sean Duregger is a long time fan of Saosin and doesn't want Secret & Whisper to over come them. His review is much to biased, someone who is a fan of Secret & Whisper should post a review if he is going to be so biased.

OK....so I just heard the new Saosin Live album. Sheesh, Vile...Cove can't hold a tune live. I don't know why they released that filler of a live album.

I haven't seen them live, so I have no ground to stand on there. But, just comparing the albums (and yes...the anthony green saosin is FAR superior) there are SO many similarities it's hard to ignore.

I have strangely found myself revisiting this album a few times, but still can't get my ears around how similar they sound. Maybe their next album will be a bit more original. I do agree these guys have some significant talent and potential. Just not a fan of the debut.

I would say, that it's alot better than the cove era saosin stuff for the simple fact that the guy for Secret and Whisper can actually sing live, I saw them with lower definition yesterday days ago and it was awesome. but this doesn't compare to anything with anthony green.

don't get me wrong, I love cove's singing on the record, and the Saosin LP is probably the album I've listened to most in my life other than Underoath's they're only chasing safety.

i couldn't disagree more. there's a reason for the hype behind this band. to each his own i guess, but this album definitely consists of some solid material.
